KEEGAN IS BACK!
We’re thrilled to confirm our first “new” arrival for the 2021 Season, with the return to the club of former Bulldogs Captain, Keegan Hirst
In his fifth year with The Bulldogs, Keegan led the side through the amazing 2016 campaign, finishing 3rd in the Championship and competing in the Super 8 Qualifying series, where the highlight for many was an incedible evening away at a packed Headingley Stadium. .
Having moved onto Super League Wakefield Trinity with former coach John Kear, he then joined Halifax for the 2020 Season.
A hugely popular figure at The Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, both on and off the field. Welcome Back!!
Duo Depart Batley
Front Rower Joe Taira and Hooker Shaun Lunt have moved on from the Bulldogs for the 2021 campaign.
Popular forward Taira has spent two years at The Bulldogs and will return to his former club Rochdale Hornets, while Lunt who joined the club for the ill fated 2020 season moves to Barrow Raiders.
We’d like to thank both for their efforts at The Fox’s Biscuits Stadium and wish them the very best for the future.
