The Half term was a very busy week for the Bulldogs Community Team. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the community gym was open for anyone to come into and get into some fitness under instruction. The last three days of the week there was also an activity camp for young people aged 5 to 10. The days were great fun with activities including rugby skills, football, cricket, arts and crafts and of course a Halloween party to round the week off on the Friday.
Pictured are some of the young people preparing pumpkins for the party. On Thursday the Community Team and Battler the Bulldogs were surprise guests at the Halloween party for Downs and Special Friends where they handed out biscuits and mini rugby balls and Battler had a go at the limbo. The community team have met many of the young people and their families on previous projects and events and it was great to catch up. Batley Legend Danny Maun was also at hand for the week of activities.
There was also a family show called “Rabbit Girl” presented at the Bulldogs stadium in partnership with Creative Scene that provided fun for all the family.
