Danny Maun Testimonial

Popular centre Danny Maun has become the latest long-serving Bulldog to be granted a testimonial, after the Rugby Football League confirmed his request.

Maun, who is 31 next month, has been an outstanding servant of the Mount Pleasant club, and follows in the footsteps of fellow Bulldogs such as Mark Toohey and Kris Lythe in being awarded a 12-month testimonial.

Maun, delighted at the news said: "I applied for a testimonial as I have played more games for Batley than some of the other lads who have been granted them but I must admit I was a bit shocked and emotional when I was given one for 12 months".

A date has yet to be finalised for Maun's testimonial year to start, but an events committee has already been assembled, and the club will ensure that all events over the next 12 months are publicised on the official website.
