The club have announced details of a February pub crawl - enjoy a good day out and help the Bulldogs!!
The Bulldogs play Sheffield Eagles on February 8 in their first away game of the season and as well as being Champions they are our bogey team, so it doesn't come any tougher. To mark the occasion, the next day (Saturday 9 February) we are organising a pub crawl ending at the LoveRugbyLeague.com Stadium where you can watch the DVD of the previous night's game at the club.
There will be a total of six bars taking part and your £20 ticket covers a pint/bottle of beer in each, followed by pie and peas at the club. Proceedings will begin at 1pm in the following bars:
- The Vic @ Carlinghow
- Batley Nash
- Rose of York
- Tapps Bar (formerly Wilton)
- Commercial - Dark Lane
- Vice Presidents' Lounge
This is the route we suggest, but you can visit them in any order you wish, just make sure that you are up at the club by 5.00pm, as the match will be screened at 5.30pm after you have had your pie and peas and final pint.
You will receive a voucher to present at each bar for your drink as well as a raffle ticket with 10 prizes of half a gallon of beer in each bar plus a special prize up at the club. Hopefully, we will then be watching a memorable performance from the night before.
So, to summarise, for your £20 you get:
- 6 pints of beer
- Pie and peas
- Entry for various raffle prizes
- Sheffield Eagles v Batley Bulldogs viewing
- A great day out
- AND - you will be supporting your club!
This is a ticket only event so to book yours, please hand in a piece of paper with your name, address, telephone number and email address on it together with £20.00 at the club or you can book your ticket by contacting Paul Harrison on 07870 851555.
